Speculation

Apple has updated the Mac Pro and XServe today--a week before MacWorld.

I infer from this that Steve Jobs feels that he has plenty of other things to talk about the MacWorld keynote, and doesn't want to spend the time talking about these relatively straightforward upgrades to these systems. That bodes well for MacWorld.

(I feel willing to talk about this because I have no knowledge that's not available to an outsider.)
