Unemployment

I just got my determination of unemployment benefits today.

Their determination: no benefits.

Their reason: they believe I was an employee for only 12 weeks during the period October 2001 through September 2002.

I say that I was an employee for 34 weeks or so--at least two whole quarters.

I am sore aggrieved.

No data as of yet. There's a breakdown of money earned per quarter, but not a breakdown of credit weeks per quarter.

I wonder if some record somewhere is wrong. I've had to fix my credit report now - somewhere they got the idea that I'd stopped working for Carnegie Mellon and started working for Congey Malon or some such, thereby losing my "N years at current company" notation. Twits.

There is an appeal process. I'll be learning much more about the appeal process on Wednesday.

Hello I stumbled upon your journal while doing a search for druid spell list. I noticed we are the same age and still play D&D.
