So, that was a good, satisfying finale for Buffy.

There was one particular tidbit that made me laugh out loud. It's irrelevant to the plot, but I'll keep it behind an lj-cut for those who want to avoid all spoilers:

I was delighted by the whole D&D bit, and I enjoyed Giles' comment of "once I was a respected Watcher, now I'm a wounded dwarf with the mystical strength of a doily." But what made me really crack up was the reference to Trogdor the Burninator, which is a clear reference to this bit of web fun.

There were a lot of good lines

...Joss did a good job writing the finale. It's a sign that it was good that he still managed to fit in pop culture references.

That was nifty. :-) (We cracked up over the "good, wholesome kind [of losing control], like a girlfriend with a pierced tongue....")

The Sean and the Jane have yet to see it (it's on the TiVo), but that is probably on the roster of Things To Do this evening.

Looking forward to seeing the two of you sometime this summer. Too bad we have nothing comparable to Kennywood out here, but it's probably just as well---I'd be forced to sit on the sidelines and watch. *sob*
