I was just fascinated by reading Greg Costikyan's review of Paul Czege's My Life With Master. Now I'm eager to get the game and try to get a game together.

http://www.polytropos.org/archives/000016.html provides a two-paragraph summary, which I won't quote here because I would be quoting the whole thing.

This is just a meme-propagation post, really--half the people on my friends list probably already know about My Life With Master, and it's not clear how many others on my friends list will care. And I can't yet provide a review of my own. But I find it fascinating.

Carl and Will have expressed an interest in playing, so I've ordered it. I doubt that any game will happen until 2004, but I will try to organize a game in early 2004; let me know if you're interested. (It seems very suitable to run a game of Gothic horror in the bleak days of January of February.)

General guidelines:
- I intend this to be a short game. It might take place in one session, or it might run longer, depending on how timing works out--but my intent is that it should be a very few sessions, not a long campaign.
- This will clearly be a game of story and roleplaying. If that's not what you're interested in, this may not be the game for you.

I've never heard of this game, but it sounds very cool.
