This story is great: this guy left his iPhone on his car and drove off, leading to the iPhone landing on the highway and getting slammed off the road by a semi truck--but the phone still basically worked afterward:

Wow! :)
On a side note, everyone always seems to complain about scratches on their Apple whatevers. Personally, I beat the hell out of every portable electronic device I own no matter what brand it is so practically everything has scratches on it. As long as I can read the screen, I don't really care. However, this is why I always recommend people get an Invisible Shield (http://www.invisibleshield.com/) type cover for their new purchases (at least for the screen) no matter what they are. Apple's stuff might seem to scratch worse than other things, but other things still scratch, not just Apple products.

Saw this one at work. It's pretty dang impressive.

Makes me wonder again if I should pick up an iPod Touch now, or wait until they refresh and get more memory.
(Smalldog having the 16gb units on sale for $355 doesn't help, of course...)
