Camera Vexation

ralphmeltonI already knew that I had no location data for all the pictures before we reached Portland, but I've learned now that this camera has only given me location data for about 10% of the pictures I've taken since then. I think my camera is underperforming, but I also have concluded that it seems to be unrealistic for a camera GPS to get a location fast enough to tag pictures taken put the window of a moving car—which is when I really want the camera to mark the location.
While I'm raging: we've been getting "Write Error" or "Read Error" on 10-20% of our photos. I don't know whether to blame the camera or the card, but I am waxing wroth about it.

Date: 2011-07-19 05:21 pm (UTC)I would try a new card first, as I've run into that more often with corrupted cards than messed up cameras.
