We're having another party at our house, for St. Patrick's Day. (March 16.)

So I'm working on a big party e-mail list. For a first draft, I'm putting all my LJ friends within a one-state radius on this list; let me know if you'd like to be on or off the invite list for our parties.

Strangely enough, that is not yet a weekend I am scheduled to work. However, in reality, the likelihood is that it would be impossible for either me or Karen to attend. *heavy sigh*

When inviting us, it is, however, simpler to send an email cc'ing both Karen and me so that we both know that we've seen things. I don't know for certain that Karen has read either of these posts, for example, so although she may be craving a St. Patrick's Day visit to Pittsburgh, I wouldn't know for certian. 8^)

Of course I'm reading this...albeit a bit late. We don't have any plans that weekend, that I know of. Only problem is Shabbat, but we can work around that. It would mean me taking Friday off, which should be do-able. No guarantees yet, though. I'd like to get closer to the date before we commit. Fair enough?

I'd bet that we could offer you Shabbat hospitality (hedged only because I haven't talked to Dani yet). We live within reasonable walking distance of at least a dozen shuls (probably more), so if you don't want to go to mine we can set you up with whatever you like.

That would be most appreciated and would go a long way toward getting us there! We'll let you know if we think we'll make it. I suspect we can make it, providing that I can get Friday off. It shouldn't be a problem since I only work half days on Fridays anyway.
