Friday evening, we went down to the Three Rivers Arts Festival to hear Entrain play.

First we wandered around the art dealers a bit. Saw some nice stuff, but nothing that made me reach for my wallet. (I had been hoping for an appearance from <a http://www.spootch.com>White Forest Spoons, who once sold me a wok tool that we use almost daily. But I didn't see them.)

The concert was to begin at 7:30. A few minutes before then, I got a surprisingly delicious sausage sandwich from the vendor near the fountain. The sausage was nicely spicy, and the onions were sweet and flavorful--yummy!

As we ate the sausage, though, it started to rain, in that ominous "the sky is about to open up" way. We decided that we did not care enough about Entrain to want to get drenched, so we went over to Max and Erma's for dinner. (It seems that if we had been somewhat earlier, we would have met up with the crew attending Singing in the Rain. Oh well.)

We'll be returning to the Arts Festival again on Wednesday to see the Blind Boys of Alabama. Mmm, fair food.
