I'm trying to think up a more interesting name...my journal would still be "Lori's LiveJournal," but I wish I had a cooler username.

I agree that the either name would suit you better than using your full name. For some reason the minimalist form seems appropriate for your style of writing and patterns of expression. In my experience, you pretty much say what you have to say without any unnecessary words, punctuation, or widgets. ;)
